Now is that off the Manual bias or would it be the better car?

It really does come down to money and new vs old.
Personally I'd go with the Mach 1, but that's a large level of bias on my part. The interior quality is going to be a step above the Mach 1 inside the 2011. Plus the 2011 is probably much more economical than the Mach 1. But then again, shaker hood.
Tough choice..

The 2011 is a better car in every aspect. It rides better, turns better, gets better fuel mileage, goes faster. Looks are obviously subjective however. The auto isn't bad in those cars, especially if you're a drag racer. Myself I'm not keen on auto's however.
The Mach 1 is a cool car though and arguably is the better sounding of the two. It also should be quite a bit cheaper, which may allow you to fix some of it's shortcomings if you're the type that likes to mod.
Oh and Pics or it didn't happen!

Absolutely the Mach 1, because looks, exotism and manual gearbox. Go for it.

I didn't see/have not read the nice price crack pipe. And while I may get flamed for this, I personally think the 2011 with the auto is the better option. Fit an finish on the cars was much nicer than in 2003 and the 5.0 Coyote is just a sweet motor. My 2012 has 42000 miles and the motor has not given me any issues, knock on wood, though admittedly there were other small issues.
The 2011 is easy to live with with a lot of storage space and depending on the gearing and your right foot will get good gas mileage. Additionally if you need to use the car every day, I think having a two year old car over a ten year old car is the better choice. This is null and void if you want it as a toy. Anyway. I am happy to discuss my experience further if you have any questions. Happy hunting.

Both?
Yeah it's down on power from the 2011 model, but the New Edge looks better, is less cramped inside, is cheaper (I'm guessing) and has a real transmission. Plus Mach 1

Depends on which 2011. 4.6L, or 5.0?
If 5.0....even with the autotragic...well...There's just no way I could turn down 100 more HP. The truth of today's cars is that 300HP ain't a lot anymore. Beige V6 Saloons all over the place can make those numbers. The 5.0 is a properly fast muscle car out of the gate and will only get faster with mods.
Go with the 5.0. It's just superior, And you'll be happier for it.

The Mach 1 is possibly my all time favorite car, but even with the auto the 5.0 GT would be hard to pass up. The S197 is worlds better than the SN95, but I think I would go Mach 1 on this. However, I've always wanted to build an S197 Mach 1, but a red auto 2011 wouldn't be my starting point.

Mach 1.
I know the new one is the better car, but I'm honestly bored DDing an automatic. Call it manual bias, but my vote would be the Mach 1.

We currently have one 2011 GT that is my dads and I know how well they can run but owning a Mach 1 would be following in the foot steps of my father as well cause he owned 2 1969 Mach 1's when he was in college also here is the NPCP post: NPCP

Where the fuck did I read red? Hello dyslexia...
Black with the saddle is a nice combo, but black is also a pain in the ass to maintain.
